About Oregon Adventure Student Exchange
- Oregon Adventure Student Exchange has been coordinating international exchanges for high school students since 1990.
- Oregon-Chile Exchange was started back in 2000 by Sandra Maldonado in Chile and Becky Haskins in Eugene, Oregon. They are both veteran teachers. Sachiko Itoh took over the coordination part in Eugene in 2013 but she still closely works with Becky. Sachiko taught Japanese at Churchill High School from 2000 to 2011.

Sandra is a long time English teacher in Osorno, Chile. Sandra came to Eugene, Oregon, as a Fulbright scholar in 2001. She brought her three children and she taught Spanish at Sheldon High School. She currently teaches English at San Mateo High School.

Sachiko Itoh, Eugene, Oregon
Originally from Tokyo, Sachiko taught Japanese at Churchill High School in Eugene from 2000-2011. Prior to that, she taught Japanese at the University of Washington. While at Churchill, she’s had the chance to help exchange students and sent many of her students to Japan. She is taking a break from teaching after having her third son.
